Senior Registrar – Obstetrics & Gynaecology | Major Tertiary Health Service, Western Australia

An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join a busy and highly regarded tertiary women’s health service in Metropolitan Western Australia.

Fixed-term full-time and part-time appointments (6–12 months) are available, with potential extension opportunities. This role is ideal for advanced trainees / senior registrars looking to further develop skills in a high-volume, consultant-supported environment.

The Role

• Manage Birth Suite, inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and emergency gynaecology presentations
• Participate in a 24/7 rotating roster with strong senior support
• Supervise and teach junior medical staff
• Gain broad tertiary exposure across obstetrics and gynaecology
• Opportunities to complete advanced training modules and subspecialty interests
• Work within collaborative multidisciplinary teams focused on high-quality women’s healthcare

What We’re Looking For

• Senior Registrar level doctor or advanced O&G trainee
• RANZCOG Year 5/6 trainees encouraged to apply
• Strong clinical skills across obstetrics and gynaecology
• Experience managing acute presentations and labour ward environments
• Commitment to teaching, teamwork, and ongoing development
